"I think the event is excellent, we've probably all got a lot to learn for the Dundee Thistle, greeted with car park attendants on arrival, live twitter updates, pictures of pain superbly taken on the law and elsewhere, shouts from the marshalls even when you're pummelled and off the back, great course, friendly atmosphere. Along with a feeling of calmness from the team running the event, a general relaxed and unofficious atmosphere, although I'm sure behind the scenes there must be moments of panic, but the riders don't see that, which is a tough task.
